Kasalukuyang ginagawa ni Sarah Geronimo ang pelikulang Maybe This Time ng Star Cinema kunsaan makakatambal niya si Coco Martin.

Binisita ng Buzz Ng Bayan ang shooting ng pelikula sa Marikina.

Pahapyaw ay ikinuwento ni Sarah kung tungkol saan ang itatakbo ng kuwento ng kanilang pelikula.

Ayon kay Sarah, “It’s about two people, finding each other on the wrong time. Hindi sila nagkaroon ng closure, so, naiwan sila na hanging.

“Maling tao ba sila para sa isa’t-isa?

“Kilala natin si Coco as dramatic actor, ‘di ba? So, sabi ko sa sarili ko, wow, mukhang challenge ito sa akin.”

Masaya si Sarah na makasama muli ang former leading man niya sa ABS-CBN music-serye na IDOL.

“Siyempre, excited tayo kasi, marami tayong matutunan in this project, with Coco,” saad niya.

Hindi rin naman daw mawawala rito ang forte ni Sarah sa pagpapakilig na naging madali lalo dahil kay Coco.

Ani Sarah, “Si Coco naman is an endearing person and I always say na yung smile ni Coco, siya lang yung may ganung klaseng smile.”

Aminado naman si Sarah na kahit paano, naiilang pa rin siya kay Coco.

“Meron… actually, sa lahat naman po ng leading man, may ilang. Palaging may ilang and it helps: yung awkwardness, yung kilig.

“As a teaser, yung parang iti-tease ko siya. Yung ganun, tuwang-tuwa ako sa kanya dun. May ganun pala siya, yung pagka-komedyante niya.

“Natutuwa ako ‘pag ganun, mas nagiging natural rin ang bato ko ng acting sa kanya, mas nagiging natural.”

“Mas naglu-loosen-up siya, mas gumagaan. Ito ngang pelikula naming ito, mas nabibigyan kami ng chance na maging kumportable sa isa’t-isa.”

Kung sakali at makakasama niya si Coco sa isang summer getaway, saan niya ito gustong dalhin?

“Narinig ko before, parang gusto niyang mag-Boracay.

“Ako kasi, nagpunta na ng Boracay once, pero, para sa trabaho rin, sa teleserye na Pangarap Na Bituin, so, hindi ko nakita ang ganda ng Boracay.

“Ang naramdaman ko lang, init.”

Natatawa naman si Sarah nang tanungin siya na ikumpara si Coco sa isang pagkain.

“Bibingka,” ang natatawang sagot ng Popstar Princess.

“Kasi si Coco, simpleng tao pero, nakaka-endear sa kanya ang simplicity niya, humility niya.”

Sa naunang panayam kay Ruffa Gutierrez, sinabi niya na siya ang magiging mentor ng karakter ni Sarah sa isang public relations firm.

She plays the role of Stephanie Asuncion in her upcoming movie with Coco Martin.

Sarah shares that it is important to have full understanding of her character.

“Kailangan alam mo ‘yung sitwasyon nya, kung ano ‘yung struggles niya. yung fears nya, lahat-lahat,” she enthuses.

“Importante rin na maging conscious ako dahil nanggaling ako kay Laida Magtalas.”

She adds, “May konting similarities sila [Laida and Stephanie]. Kailangan lang talaga ako mag-effort para maging iba si Stephanie kay Laida.”

The Popstar Royalty, all dressed up in an icy blue gown with a cape and her hair braided just like Queen Elsa’s of Disney’s hit animated movie Frozen, gave a beyond amazing rendition of the song “Let It Go.”

It immediately went up on the trending topics in social media, garnering mostly positive response from fans and non-fans alike. Sarah’s current sweet disposition just seems to radiate effortlessly during the number, one of the reasons why fans keep saying how she sang with so much emotion while at the same time keeping up with the high notes.
