Following the footsteps of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos and Superstar Nora Aunor, Sarah Geronimo is the next female celebrity to have a self-titled musical variety show. It has already been a month since Sarah G. Live aired its pilot episode. Nevertheless, fans and TV audiences still never lost that excitement and anticipation every Sunday night.
Sarah G. Live has consistently topped the Sunday TV ratings. Moreover, the program is continuously reinventing its format, providing audiences a better and grander episode every week. Star-studded guests like Pilita Corales and Iza Calzado, as well as co-hosts Paulo Avelino, Christian Bautista and Kean Cipriano, make the show livelier.
On its March 25 episode, the Popstar Princess reminisced the day her ABS-CBN and VIVA bosses shared the good news about her new show. “Gusto ko lang balikan ko yung time na sinabi ho sa akin na magkakaroon ako ng sarili kong musical variety show. Talaga hong natakot ako,” she expressed. But more than the fear, Sarah felt it was the right time for growth and change. “Gusto ko hong tanggihan pero inuulit ko po, growth po ito para sa akin.”
Giving all her best on every episode, the Popstar Princess humbly apologized for all her fans and supporters. “At pasensya na ho kung talagang trying hard ho ako na ibigay ang the best na maibibigay ko po para sa inyo. Pasensya na po. Alam ko naman po yan, hindi ko naman po mapi-please lahat. Sana ho pabayaan n’yo ho ako na talagang pagtrabahuin ito para mas ma-entertain ko kayo, para mas ma-meet ko yung mga expectations ninyo.”
Nevertheless, she thanks everyone who has continuously joined her in this journey. “<araming-marami salamat po sa inspirasyon na binibigay n’yo sa’kin, sa challenges na binibigay n’yo sa’kin to become better. Maraming salamat.” And as finale to her show, the Popstar Princess performed her trademark song, Forever’s Not Enough, with the message, “Hindi ho sapat ang forever para mapakita ko ang pagmamahal ko para sa inyong lahat.”

I watched Sarah live online and I’m so blessed with your life. Great show and great moves whenever you dance and of course one thing I admire you is when you sing. You make us so proud of how you carry yourself! Though I’m far away I can still able to see you performing even watching you online. Someday when you’re going to have group tour here in US, hope I can able to see you in person. I lived close to Ontario airport, here @ Riverside, Ca.
