PBO “Paborito ng Bayan” goes all the way in celebrating Sarah Geronimo’s 23rd birthday!
Weekends of Flicks and Music on PBO
All Saturdays of July at 9:30 pm, follow Sarah’s rise to box office supremacy on PBO Presents. On July 2, Sarah plays sister to Jolina Magdangal in ”Annie B.”, a story about a simple girl who catches the eye of a hunky bachelor, played by Dingdong Dantes. On July 9, Sarah serves as Mark Bautista’s inspiration to keep saving the oppressed in the fantasy flick, “Lastikman”. The top-grossing film, “A Very Special Love”, which made Sarah Box Office Queen for her role as the bubbly Laida Magtalas, airs on July 16. Her monumental tandem with Box Office King John Lloyd Cruz continues in the hit sequel, “You Changed My Life” on July 23. The heartwarming dramedy “Hating Kapatid”, which pairs her for the first time with superstar Judy Ann Santos, airs on July 30.
PBO Spotlight highlights the Popstar’s singing prowess every Sunday night at 9:30. On July 3, catch Sarah’s first ever concert, “Popstar: A Dream Come True”, where she performs with Star For A Night fellow contestants, Mark Bautista and Angeli Mae Flores, and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. “Pinoy Idols: Battle of the Popstars” puts Sarah in the same stage with Erik Santos, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, Raymond Manalo, Rachelle Ann Go, Frenchie Dy, and Sheryn Regis on July 10. “Sarah: The Other Side” on July 17 showcases her ability to switch from singing sentimental songs to dancing like a vixen, moving to frantic beats a-la Thalia. “Night of the Champions”, which won Best Major Concert at the 2005 Aliw Awards, also featuring Erik Santos and Rachelle Ann Go airs on July 24. Friday, She’ll Make You Fall In Love
“What Love Is”, the unprecedented Valentine concert of Sarah and Concert King Martin Nievera gets its first cable telecast on PBO Premiere, July 29 at 9:30 pm. The repertoire includes “All You Need Is Love”, “Where Is the Love”, “I Wanna Know What Love Is”, classic OPM songs, such as “Forevermore”, “Ngayon At Kailanman”, “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang”, “Ikaw”, and a whole lot more.
